Dev Ganesan

Dev Ganesan recently served as the President and CEO of TRADOS Incorporated, market leader for globalization management and productivity software, with 2003 revenues of $25m and 190 staff in 10 offices worldwide. At TRADOS, Dev transformed the company from a small-desktop licenses outfit to a large scalable enterprise software player with blue chip customers like HP, SAP, Volkswagen/Audi and Siemens, and put together a team of top-notch investors (Sequoia Capital, Microsoft Corporation, Deutsche Bank Capital Partners, Mitsui Venture Capital,), Board members, advisory board and management team. During his tenure, he established a clear vision and built a professional, high-performing customer-focused organization. TRADOS recently relocated to Silicon Valley.
Before joining TRADOS, he was the EVP/CFO of Advanced Communication Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACSC), a $220 million IT services company. At ACS, Dev grew the company from $36m in 1996 to $220m in 1999, was instrumental in the Company’s IPO and follow-on offering, and responsible for completing five strategic acquisitions in 24 months. During Dev’s tenure at ACS, the Company delivered 17 consecutive quarters of significant market share gains, revenue increases and exceeded analysts’ expectations. Titan Corporation acquired ACS.
Prior to ACS, he had done an IPO of a software systems company in Columbia, MD, and worked with International Computer Limited, KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte & Touche.
Dev was recently nominated as Special Advisor to the Office of the U.S. Under-Secretary of Commerce. He is currently the President of ICEO Council/TiE-DC, a large entrepreneurial group, and previously served on the board Northern Virginia Technology Council. Dev also serves on the Advisory Board of Epiance Inc. and Welocalize Inc. He was an E&Y’s Entrepreneur-Of-The-Year finalists in 2003. In 1998, he was one of the three finalists at the NVTC’s CFO of the Year program. Both, TRADOS and ACS were recognized by Deloitte & Touche as one of the fifty-fastest growing company in the Washington area.
