During February-June 2005, a round of meetings took place, in Finland, to strengthen local V2C activities by launching CONNECT, the global, University of California at San Diego rooted matching concept, also in Finland. Early on, it became concluded that there was a call for a formal community of V2C activists to boost growth venturing in Finland. The community that emerged from the discussions, which engaged about 100 people, is neither owned nor controlled by corporations, universities, or any other entities, but by its members as private individuals. While the group admittedly subscribes to (i) the ethical codes of western democracies, in general, and (ii) case Finland, in particular, the driving idea or mission is to build and support the launching of maximally successful companies for the global economy. The founding meeting of "Finnish Co-Entrepreneurs SKY Association" was held on September 7, at Helsingin Suomalainen Klubi, in Helsinki. All free men and women, subscribing to the community's theses, are warmly welcomed to join the association! Visit the website of the Finnish Co-Entrepreneurs SKY Association.
