eBRF 2002
During November 14-16, 2002 was held eBRF 2002, which gathered together 150 researchers and businesses to consider the effect of new operating models into the business at University of Tampere and Tampere Hall.
The program was divided into three days, of which eEnterprise was the theme of Thursday. In eEnterprise day speakers from India, United States, Great Britain and European Commission approached the digitalisation of businesses from different perspectives. The program of the first day continued with case-presentations and presentation of eEnterprise research project. The day ended with a panel discussion where an audience had a possibility to make comments and questions concerning a topic.
Friday was an academic day, where researchers had a possibility to present their research papers and get comments. A review process from 70 papers chose the 40 papers, which were presented. The articles of these accepted papers will be published on February 2003 in Frontiers of e-Business Research. The themes were specially affiliated with public services, research- and development projects and partnerships.
The third day of the conference concerned the development of the cooperation between Tampere and St. Petersburg. The participants consisted of the delegation from St. Petersburg, which included representatives of businesses and the city of St. Petersburg.
