Author Instructions

In order to provide an interesting, motivating conference experience with as few no-shows as possible, we have decided to follow the following publication procedure:

"An accepted abstract, followed by a presentation and participation in the conference, will lead to finalizing a full paper and publishing it in the proceedings published after the conference."

Important dates

Abstract Submission – May 5

Please submit an abstract (1-3 pages) for a double blind review process through this website by May 5. The abstracts will be reviewed by a constructive, international group of scholars representing the themes at hand.

Abstract Submission for Special Tracks - May 20

The abstract should be a Word document converted to PDF format. Please use this template when writing your abstract to EBRF 2008:

NOTE! Do not write your names or affiliations to the documents as they will go through a double blind review process. This information will be saved to the conference system.

Notification of Acceptance – June 20

By June 20, the contact person of each submission will receive an e-mail notification of acceptance/rejection.

Registration (Presenting Scholars) – August 8

At least one author of each accepted abstract has to register by August 8 in order to be able to hold the presentation and publish a full paper in the proceedings.

Registration (Regular) – September 1

The co-authors who are not presenting the paper and all other participants have time until September 1 to register for the conference.

The EBRF 2008 conference – September 22-24

The accepted abstracts will be divided into scientific sessions each consisting of three to four presentations. The abstracts will also be published in a small abstract book to help the participants choose the presentations they find the most interesting. This book does not have an official publication status.

Full Paper Submission – December 8

Each research that is presented in the EBRF 2008 conference has the opportunity to publish a full paper in the conference proceedings. The 10 to 15 page paper should be submitted in PDF format through the conference system before December 8th.

A specific template for the full paper will be available after the conference.

Please use this template and follow the given instructions when writing your full paper to EBRF 2008:
